Gonzalo is en 32-jarige Argentijn met een indrukwekkend hockey CV , opgebouwd zowel in Latijns Amerika, als in Europa. Zijn rol als messcherpe aanvaller combineert hij reeds jaren met het succesvol coachen van diverse bovenbouwteams , waaronder verschillende jaren in Nederland en vooral de UK. De laatste jaren vervulde hij de rol van hockey director bij Wokin Hockeyclub , England.

Hij volgde talrijke internationale coaching-sessies en is specialist in video-analyse.

Naar alle waarschijnlijkheid wordt hij een belangrijke aanwinst voor onze club!

We laten hem zelf aan het woord: 

"I have been around Europe coaching and playing for the last 14 years in different country’s such as the Netherlands, France, Italy and England. I have been lucky to take on a number of roles across juniors, women's and men's programmes , I very much value these opportunities and know they helped shape me into the coach I am today.

Now I chose for a new challenge in Belgium, where hockey has been improving massively in the last few years, one of the best countries in the world to play and coach. It has been shown that hockey will continue to grow in  Belgium and that there is no limit to this growth , since the clubs and the federation are working in a very good way.

The club's project and the level of players is what made me decide to become part of it. Indeed, I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to work with a talented group of players.

I'm excited to be joining the club, with the aim  to continue the incredible work that has been put in over the last few seasons: Having spent 4 years in England as director of hockey and Women’s 1s coach , we made them to have the  2 most successful seasons in the club history. 

I hope to be able to bring similar successes to HK Keerbergen Tigers. Many thanks to the club hierarchy for giving me this opportunity. "
